LEGACY 2025

“A LEGACY YEAR”

This being our fourth year at Legacy, we used it as an opportunity to re-define what each of us leaving a legacy needs to look like. Keep scrolling to see the different ways we explored this idea.

WHAT LEGACY ARE YOU LEAVING? Your legacy is shaped by whatever sits on the throne of your heart.

Nothing can move Jesus off the throne of your heart unless you want it to.

SATURDAY NIGHT Eric Gray

in our keynotes

In addition to a roundtable and joint-keynote with some of the Legacy board members, students also heard from Jon Podein and Eric Gray in our worship sessions.

THURSDAY NIGHT: BOARD ROUND-TABLE

A few members of our board outlined the vision for this event, and shared from how Jesus has shaped their own legacy.

FRIDAY NIGHT: JON PODIEN

Jon wrestled with the boldness we should have about Jesus, and what kind of legacy we’re actually leaving.

SATURDAY NIGHT: ERIC GRAY

Eric challenged us to address what really is holding us back, not sin or temptation, but ourselves. We must decide.

SUNDAY MORNING: SAM W. & MALVIN S.

Malvin and Sam each built upon the ideas and habits that either build up or distraction from our walk with Jesus.

in our club time

At Legacy, students from every attending congregation are sorted into clubs with each other. Club activities can often be exciting and competitive as clubs are competing to win the “Club of the Year” trophy, however, the real goal for clubs is to allow students the opportunity to build lasting relationships with each other and take ownership of the weekend. We recognize that the relationships at events like Legacy are ones that can last a lifetime and Club Time can be a natural settings for that to happen. Club time also allows leadership opportunities for juniors and seniors who are able to be club officers throughout the weekend, in order to enable our students to feel like Legacy isn’t only an event that they attend, but one that they truly a part of making memorable.

Students were given the opportunity to choose from our catalog of breakout classes related to how different people in Scripture responded to Jesus.
